Technology
A new molecule, material or protein usually takes years of trial and error in the lab. We run that search in software. A designer model proposes atomic structures for a goal; structure and physics models test every candidate, and their scores steer the next round until the design works. The physics models learn from synthetic quantum-accurate data made by compute, so the loop does not depend on lab data.
